I wanna buy a car...what's the best websites to search for car listings in Chicago?

I wanna buy a car...what%26#039;s the best websites to search for car listings in Chicago?

You can try http://www.chicagoathome.com it%26#039;s a newer website that claims to offer you the choice to search for a vehicle by the monthly payment, however I have not seen this feature myself.

There is also http://www.autotrader.com as well as http://www.cars.com and http://www.carmax.com. I hope this helps and I will try to think of any others. You can email me if you have questions.

I wanna buy a car...what%26#039;s the best websites to search for car listings in Chicago?

I%26#039;m from milwaukee, and in the past six years, I bought two cars. I found both of them at www.autotrader.com. Both came from the chicago area, the first was an %26#039;84 volvo 240. it had 118,000 miles on it when I bought it, and had very minor problems with it for five years, it still runs fine, wisconsin winters rusted it out though. The other is an %26#039;88 honda, runs like a champ. I paid 1,100 for it, and maybe put 600 into it aside from new tires. look for an older car, that runs exceptionally well (no shakes in the steering wheel when going highway speed, no squeaks/ ticks/ noticeable leaking oil/ fluid in the engine/ under the hood, a solid exhaust, and decent tires are some good things to check out when looking at a car.

I recently purchased a new car from a popular commercial dealership a month ago friday...?

I recieved a call yesterday from the sales person yesterday, that there is a discrepency with my pay (stipulation from bank). He stated that I make a little less than what he may have fabricated on the loan app. He wants to schedule a meeting with the business manager and myself on friday. I did not fill out the app. He%26#039;d filled out the entire app. and when it came time to close the deal and I brought proof of pay in to show the finance manager, he was perplexed and then asked why there is such a difference in the year to date and the monthly income on the app. I told him I did not make what was on the app. and gave him the correct info. My question is, is this my fault or his (dealer/finance/salesman)? What can be done? What might happen?

I recently purchased a new car from a popular commercial dealership a month ago friday...?

Knowing this, you still accepted the contract and signed it confirming that the information on said contract is correct. You are at legal liability. You should not have accepted the contract with incorrect information.

Being that it was not an intentional act, I doubt the bank would take any action. What will most likely happen is that you%26#039;ll have to sign a new contact. You may not get as good interests.

I recently purchased a new car from a popular commercial dealership a month ago friday...?

CONGRATULATIONS, for a new Car !

Wish you happy motoring, all the time you use your new CAR.

Remember, You have signed, so it is your liability. However today is Tuesday, three days later, on FRIDAY you go and attend the meeting and sort out the issue through discussion.

Car change?

I AM CURRENTLY DRIVING A JAN 2004 HYUNDAI MATRIX 1.6 AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT CHANGE TO A TOYOTA ALTIS 1.6. CONCERN IS THAT IF I WILL TO CHANGE NOW, WHAT IS IT THAT I WILL STAND TO LOST ON THE FINANCE PARTS AS I AM ON A 10YEARS LOAN. WILL OVERTRADE BE A GOOD IDEA?

Car change?

renew and get better rate ? seems Q. is how to adjust and get what you want . you still have to pay off what you have ,some how .

Car change?

It depends. If you have been making extra principal payments and have it paid down a bit. Most likely it is a terrible idea. You will be taken to the cleaners on the financing part of the trade. I suggest you check out Dave Ramsey%26#039;s book %26quot;TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER%26#039; and go to his web.site at daveramsey.com

Car dealership trouble...?

after signing a lease agreement, i%26#039;ve had this vehicle for about a month. the %26quot;finance%26quot; manager calls me earlier this week, telling me i need to return the vehicle today since the %26quot;deal%26quot; didnt fall through. i asked what happens from there...do i get my $1000 deposit back or what? he tells me that they will have a check processed for me and it takes a week. is this true? what should i do?

Car dealership trouble...?

Seek professional legal advice in your area. That is the only way you can protect yourself from future problems caused by this %26quot;incompetent%26quot; dealership. They will be within their rights to charge you for the mileage you put on the vehicle. That is another reason to seek legal advice.

Car dealership trouble...?

I%26#039;ve never leased a car before but that sure sounds weird. If they had you sign an agreement and you%26#039;ve had the car a month already, how can the lease agreement not go through? Either they%26#039;re idiots or something is funny. Call and ask to speak to the general manager (not the finance manager), tell him what you told us. You should also probably contact a lawyer.

Car dealership trouble...?

I would reread your contract because it sounds like this dealer might have made a mistake in your favor and by asking you to return the vehicle and giving back your deposit, they are hoping that you do just that and not fight it.

Car dealership trouble...?

I%26#039;ve been in the car business for 20 years and your story deson%26#039;t make sense to me, given the information you gave. Some dealers will and do %26quot;launch%26quot; people without an official bank/leasing company approval, but they usually have an approval within hours or at most a day or two, so its hard for me to understand how you had the car for an entire month without any awareness that there was a problem, i would assume that there is language on your purchase order indicating that there is a pending finance approval. Sorry for your inconveniance and trouble, but maybe you should have someone look at your paperwork someone who is more knowlegable about these things than you...short of an attorney call around to another dealership(a competitor, of the one you dealt with, and ask the finance guys there if your paperwork looks ok, or if the first dealer may have screwed up.

Car dealership trouble...?

If you used a check for a down payment, then this is common. You can always ask for the GM and tell him that they should give you that money right now since they inconvenienced you.

Car loan and bad credit?

my fiance has really good credit will they finance me faster if he cosigns ?

Car loan and bad credit?

If you can get your fiance to co-sign for you on the basis of your relationship with him, go for it!

It%26#039;s not often that you find folks foolish enough to risk their %26quot;really good credit%26quot; on an otherwise %26quot;bad credit%26quot; risk.

By co-signing, your fiance agrees to pay for the car loan should you fail to. If your fiance signs the auto loan, then the credit risk of the application drops significantly and it is highly probable that you will be financed faster.

Happy New Year!

Car loan and bad credit?

yes, they will

Car loan and bad credit?

Generally he will need to apply for the loan solely. If you have bad credit then it will score your application down even with your boyfriends credit rating as a support. He may be required as a Loan Guarator, but he may be reluctant to do this. You should look at why you have bad credit and attempt to resolve this rather than diluting you boyfriends credit score.

Car loan and bad credit?

Most places do not use cosigning anymore. They would have to take a loan out for themselves, and then work out the payments between the two parties themselves. This is only if a person has bad credit.

Car loan and bad credit?

Yes. And if you are good about paying off the loan, it will help rebuild your credit.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

Recently I financed a vehicle, they said the bank approved the deal... now the dealership is calling me up asking me for even more pay stubs and tax returns... why would they need this if I had already been approved?

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

Maybe they just TOLD you the loan was approved. Sounds sorta fishy to me. If you already signed the paperwork re:the loan and repayment, then screw em! Or better yet, if its been 3 days or less, renig on the deal...they sound sorta shady to me. Word of advice: Check out the interest rate and repayment penalties - sounds like theyre trying to get over. They already know your income, so theres no reason to want to see more pay stubs. And they definitely dont need to see your confidential tax returns. All they need to know is your monthly income, and thats what the LATEST pay stub is for. They can verify your length of employment via your workplace. Its none of their business to see any more than your last stub. And one last thing: The car dealer doesnt need to see any of your info anyway. Your loan is with the finance company, not the dealership!

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

Sounds like your loan wasn%26#039;t approved. They are struggling to get someone to fund your loan. Go to a credit union and see if you can refi through them. Dealerships always use shady banks.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

I%26#039;ve never been asked for paystubs or tax returns. The credit report should be sufficient. I would not do business with them.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

because they%26#039;re sheisty ...go to another car dealership.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

They don%26#039;t they are being nosey, it%26#039;s between you and the finance company now,not you and the dealer.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

Haha no clue dude but ive neva heard of sutch a thing

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

Probably to find out how much you make in a year to determine if they giev you a deal, how much to finance your car reasons along that line. But if I were you use a permanent marker and mark out your social security number until they approve you or you actuall go to buy the car.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

Say screw them... My friend played this game... She had the car for a few months and they were asking for more stuff... her husband was in iraq and he couldn%26#039;t sign any more paperwork and they tried to take her car!!!!!

They will do ANYTHING to get you into a car... 99% of the time they lie and screw up your credit, check it in a month or so at free credit report.com. Tell them if they want more paperwork come get the car and you want all your $$ back... You can buy a car at (competive dealership) for less hastle. Tell them they can wait to hear from your lawyer about paper forgerary and fraud!

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

What they want to do is see what your actual to date %26#039;%26#039;debt to income%26#039;%26#039; ratio is and to do that they need to see your last tax returns and more pay stubs.not to worry, thats nothing out of the usual.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

What that phrase probably means is that the bank has agreed to finance the amount you asked for on that particular car, not that they approved you as the borrower. So now, they need your financial information to assess you as a borrower. Maybe you had several jobs over a short period of time so they want to assure themselves that you have a relatively steady income.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

I see there is a lot of guess work going on here. The correct answer is that you were approved pending final verification from the lender. If I were to guess, I am assuming you do not receive a W2 and in a field that is considered self employed, and the dealership had to use a lender that required proof of income. The lender has received the contract and is now requiring further verification. If you are self employed or in a field where you do not receive a W2 or possibly even commissioned, the lender is attempting to put together a pattern over the last year or two to determine your average monthly income. Most of these lenders will only allow 20% payment to income at best, and if you are pushing the payment, they can decline or condition the deal after you have signed the contract. The dealer is merely doing what is requested of them to get the deal funded. Other than that, the dealer could care less what you make or what you have as long as the deal funds. Email me if you have further questions or specifics I can help.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

Sounds like your were approved subject to verification of income. The lender just wants to make sure that you can afford the payment offered.

For people with less then perfect credit or little to no-credit, lenders will often ask for proof of income (including tax returns for previous year), six-ten references, proof of residence (I.E; a utility bill or land-line phone bill) and in some cases, proof of a bank account.

Dont be offended. The lender is just watching out for your budget and their investment in you. And just so you know, the dealer is trying to pull a fast on on you. All they are doing is asking you for the final bits of information to fund your contract. The dealer is still paying interest on your car until the lender funds the contract. The dealer wants to be paid for the car as much as you want to secure the loan. They dont get paid until the check is in the bank.

Car dealership wants my Tax Returns... why?

Are you sure you were approved?? if you have paper work from the loan call up your bank to make sure nothing has happened also call the dealership and ask them why they need more stuff from you... it seems a little fishy

Should I get a car loan from a bank (Harris, Chase,WaMu) or an internet car loan company (HSBC,Capit

I%26#039;ve decided to purchase a new Honda Civic EX and I don%26#039;t want to go through the hassle to finance with the dealership since I know they%26#039;ll only be jerking me around on monthly payments and deals and all the beauties that come with dealing with a dealership. So my plan is to get a loan, but should I go to my bank (Harris, Chase, WaMu, etc....) or am I better off going with one of the online banks or loan companies such as HSBC, Capital One or others? My aim is obviously a lower interest and an all around better deal.

Thanks a million.

Should I get a car loan from a bank (Harris, Chase,WaMu) or an internet car loan company (HSBC,Capital One)?

you can probably get the best deal at a credit union. you usually just have to be a resident of the community to join these days. but, a bank would probably be a better deal than online, especially HSBC and Cap1, they usually aim towards the lower end of the credit tier, but if thats where you are, i%26#039;d still check a credit union first.

Should I get a car loan from a bank (Harris, Chase,WaMu) or an internet car loan company (HSBC,Capital One)?

Capital one is a good bank and so is wells fargo. They both have good rates and terms. Capital one only loans on cars 1997and newer w/ less than 100k Miles.
